The mission of Blessed Sacrament School, a Catholic School and ministry of Blessed Sacrament Parish, is to educate preschool through grade eight students in a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging environment that instills the knowledge of God's great love for us. We empower students to become well-rounded individuals who are lifelong learners and joyful witnesses to Christ's teachings.

Description of your role and duties: As a teacher's aide in this classroom I worked one on one with the kindergarten teacher along with the students. Worked on implementing purposeful play. Helped students achieve academic goals in different subjects such as reading and mathematics. RFP focused on the analysis of novels and how they use of art can be implemented with a story.
Description of the culture of the place (how many people in the office, dress code, communication style): The school environment consisted of teachers and teacher aides that varied from preschool to eighth grade. The dress code consisted of being professional yet comfortable. With working with children you need to be as comfortable as possible while still remaining professional. Principal and teachers communicate effectively through face to face along with email as well.
Additional Requirements: Also worked in the after school program twice times a week with a focus on preschool.
