Please note that I do have photo releases for all of these youth. The picture from the newspaper is from 2017. We collected backpacks to kids in the foster care system. We heard that they often don't have anything to carry their possessions in and need to use trash bags. We had people from Adoption RI come and speak to the girls at the end of our collection process. We do at least 1 work of charity per year to help the scouts learn the importance of giving back. The other 2 are both from my internship year. In one, we had taken a trip to learn more about archery at the request of the scouts. In the other, we were having our late Halloween celebration after some unexpected scheduling conflicts with our meeting space hosts.
