Preschool lead teacher: 

• Lesson planning with RIELDS implemented 

• Morning circle with children going over calendar, weather, monthly concepts, spanish words, games, ect 

• Preparing meals 

• Playing with children 

• Art making with children 

• Assessing and building child portfolios 

Description of the culture of the place (how many people in the office, dress code, communication style)

• All female staff 

• 1-2 administrators in office at a time

Special notes on process of getting this internship:

I started this internship off as a floating TA when a position for a preschool lead teacher opened up, I decided to ask about it and got the promotion. Prior to this, I was back and forth between helping out in infants, toddlers, and preschool.
