Description of the overall mission of this organization: KPRD is dedicated to providing both quality active and leisure programs and areas of recreation for the residents of Killingly

Hours worked: Saturday, Monday, Thursday

Description of your role and duties: I was in charge of planning events for youth such as basketball tournaments, plays, themed breakfasts, inventory count, marketing, creating flyers, and help plan/run events.

Description of the culture of the place: There were usually 6 people in the office. Everyone dressed up pretty professionally, just no sweat pants and hoodies. As long as you looked professional. Email and face to face or group meetings were the best and most efficient communication styles.

Additional Requirements: (travel, etc)

Special notes on process of getting this internship: I have worked for them in the past as being the assistant director for the towns summer camp and they welcomed me.
