Description of your role and duties: As the intern, my role is to shadow my mentor, and assist him with any task he needs help with. I am responsible for attending meetings with him to discuss different programs or field trips they are planning for the HS and MS students. I am also responsible for completing other tasks, such as filing, creating lesson plans, and entering data. (Ex: Permission slips)
Description of the culture: Everyone in the office dresses professionally and everyone is very welcoming in the office. The office is where you spend most of your time unless your mentor wants you to join him to travel to different schools.

Special notes on the process of getting this internship: I was their first intern! The process to get the internship was really easy. All I had to do was contact one the College Crusade administrators by email. After I heard back from them within 2-3 days. Before you start the internship you must schedule a time to meet. When you go in you will speak to the Associate Director and Operations Director about yourself, and why you are interested in being their intern.
