Description of the overall mission of this organization:
Here at Creative Minds we believe in the importance of playing to learn, child directed
activities, and parental involvement. The children experience the world through sensory,
peer interaction, and learn with circle time songs and games.
Ages of youth served: 6 months - 60 months
Name of Mentor: Danielle Montaquila
Hours worked: 24 hours a week, for three days, for three years.
Description of your role and duties:
child care, teaching (literacy, numbers, colors, etc), parent engagement, cleaning.
Description of the culture of the place:
10-14 child care works including the owner-director. Work attire is provided by the employer. The energy is high, as well as humor and playfulness. Teachers are caring and enthusiasm for their classrooms growth and development. There is autonomy and freedom in in teaching styles and classroom management
Additional Requirements: An open heart and engage attitude, being present with the children.
