Description of your role and duties: (include administrative or hands-on or both): Documenting Social-Emotional growth of the students in our after-school programming, lead groups of children with planned out curriculum, attend weekly meetings with principal, bi-monthy meetings with entire branch and staff, document events through-out the school on an online data base, create relationships with students and their families.
Description of the culture of the place (how many people in the office, dress code, communication style): 5-6 frontline staff at Pleasant View Elm.

Other internship opportunities with this organization: Summer job opportunities through either this YMCA or other YMCA branches. At the main office, Providence Youth Services, there are about 9 people on a daily basis, especially in meetings.
