Hours worked: (number, days, times) I worked on a very flexible schedule. Usually Monday, Wednesday, Friday. 1:00- 6:00.

Description of your role and duties: (include administrative or hands-on or both) Worked on Batchbook for administration. I worked with education and then CORE. A lot of hands on, getting to know the youth. Talking & sharing stoires.

Description of the culture of the place (how many people in the office, dress code, communication style) The culture of the place is awesome. There are usually about between 3-6 adult staff in the office at a time, and youth come and go as the day goes on. The dress code is casual, and the staff are friendly and nice and very easy to talk to.

Additional Requirements: (travel, etc) Youth in Action is not far from campus, but there is no parking lot. There is street parking available right around where the building is located.

Special notes on process of getting this internship: The process was easy! After our YDEV class visited the space, I talked to Lindsay to set up an appointment/interview. I had a sit down interview with Lindsay and Pegah who is the Executive Director and then set up a schedule of availability.
